Scope
This policy describes information handled by the Tockett app, its stock quote and Live Activity update service, and this website. Tockett is operated by an independent developer. You can contact the developer about privacy using the email below.
Content on your device
Your chosen cities, stocks, item order, favorites, language and sound preferences are saved on your device for the app, widgets and Live Activities. You choose cities manually; Tockett does not need your device’s precise location. No account, name or telephone number is required to use Tockett.
Stock queries and screen updates
Stock searches and quote requests send the search terms, market and security symbols to the quote service. When you start a Lock Screen Live Activity or enable supported widget updates, the service receives and stores randomly generated connection or installation identifiers, system push identifiers, activity identifiers, selected security symbols and currencies, session start and end times, and clock refresh schedules. This information is used to authenticate connections, retrieve quotes, update your device and diagnose failures. Network services also process connection information, such as IP addresses, needed to handle requests.
Diagnostics and retention
The app keeps technical diagnostics on your device. The service also records activity or installation identifiers, security symbols, quotes, update times and error states to diagnose update failures. Diagnostic logs are rotated by age and size as new logs are written. Connection, installation and activity registration records currently have no single automatic deletion period. Stopping a Live Activity stops its updates but does not automatically delete these service records; uninstalling the app does not delete server records either. You can request access, correction or deletion of information associated with your device by emailing us below.
Service providers
Apple’s App Store processes purchases and restores. The app uses Apple-verified purchase results to confirm clock-face access; the developer does not receive your payment card details. Apple’s push service delivers Live Activity and widget updates. Depending on the market, the quote service requests security information from public sources including Tencent, TWSE and TPEx, TradingView and Yahoo. These quote requests do not need to send your device’s push identifiers to the quote sources. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use Gmail to handle the reply.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can edit or remove cities and stocks in the app, stop Lock Screen Live Activities, and remove widgets in iOS. Stopping a session ends its updates. Apple manages purchase records. To stop using related services, or to access or delete server records, email us with your request. We will verify information needed to identify the relevant records before acting. Do not send passwords, payment details or push credentials.
